CORE BELIEFS
We are members of the International Bible Way Church of Jesus Christ (IBW) and our core beliefs are consistent with that of the IBW family. IBW beliefs are rooted in the Apostolic Doctrine and as such the IBW family is in complete fellowship with the worldwide Apostolic Community and those who adhere to the tenants of the Apostolic Faith.
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of GOD. II Timothy 3:26
We believe that Jesus is the one true God creator of man, heaven, and earth. Genesis 1:1, Rev. 4:11; John 1:3
We believe that Jesus is God incarnated in the flesh. John 1:1-14; I Timothy 3:16
We believe that all have sinned, and that repentance is required by God and is necessary for the forgiveness of sins. Rom. 6:4-7; Matt. 1:21
We believe that water baptism by immersion must be in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. Acts 2:38; Acts 8:36-38
We believe in holiness as God's standard of living for His people. Heb. 12:14; I Chron. 16:29
We believe that speaking with other tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance is the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Acts 2:4; Acts 10:44-46, Joel 2:28-29
